FOSTER BOY
TV SERIES

For decades foster care has been a secretive business, with a few large corporations, and even some so-called “not-for-profits” profiting off the sub-standard care given to children. Millions of dollars changed hands as these corporations bought off politicians so that they could earn lucrative contracts to provide housing and social services to the largely minority foster children in America—but these companies did not provide the services, they pocketed the money, and placed children in horrible situations with abusers who also put their own pocketbook ahead of the children they were supposed to care for.

Building on the original story,

the series takes us in a different direction telling the stories from Jamal Randolph’s point of view and building on the stories of the foster kids who fight back. Jamal (Shane Paul McGhie) and a retired judge George Taylor (Louis Gossett Jr.), along with Keisha James (Lex Scott Davis) seek to change the lives of abused children everywhere. Michael, along with Keisha leave the downtown corporate lifestyle and open a small law firm called “Children’s Rights Law”, and along with their fixer Raushan O’Malley, they seek to help foster and homeless kids in Chicago, fight against the corrupt profiteering corporation that seeks to win at all costs.
